I have seen many posts about tech issues that people seem to be having with the game. Has anyone here had any of those issues?

I did until I moved it to a solid state drive. Black screen on load that then froze and after about 5 min, crashed. Lots of stuttering when it finally did launch. Then I moved it, 99% of the issues vanished. Only problem I'm having now is long load times and it's on an internal solid state drive.

I find it interesting that some people are installing it on an HDD and not an SSD. In the additional notes for the required specs and recommended specs for the game on Steam it says SSD required. I get the feeling if people were only installing on an SSD most of these problems would go away.

External Solid state drive didn't work either. It launches, but it has crappy/delayed audio, slow menu animations, and instant crash clicking any option. As someone who's been around this site a while, I've noticed that some people game with trainers that are completely computer illiterate. To be fair, as a disabled human with nerve issues and bad wrists, I can see why people in my position would get cheat codes of any kind just so they don't get game over'd from a bad twinge in the wrist or a locked up joint, even if they barely know the basics. So installing in the wrong drive? def see that happening. (I do that on occasion cuz I have 2 on board and 3 externals I switch between as needed)

((Side tangent about disabled gaming, can ignore)) Take HellDivers 2 for instance. Their reload mechanic is.... Punishing and out of place for a horde shooter. I've often had reloads interrupted at the last second from bugs or even server lagg, just to loose THE WHOLE New mag because of crappy design starting a fresh reload animation. The Player's character would just repeat the reload over entirely with every bump so you either die to the horde the first time or the second from no ammo. I could not STAND this with my mild carpel tunnel. (Probably spelled wrong, sorry) So someone who just has steam to stay social as they get old? (Or lets be real, plenty of them are just plain dumb/don't read/can't follow simple instructions much less complicated ones, but lets not worry about them.) "D'not weep for the stupid or you'll be cryin' all day."

Anyways, I already LOVE the game and I've always been nothing but happily surprised by the CH team, they're gonna give us an AMAZING trainer for sure. And since it's EAC, it should be a fairly if not completely straight forward common format trainer~ Thank you CH team! You make my day just about every day~!

Just a heads up, this game is developed by Saber. Now, forgetting all the political bs and what have you, the biggest issue with them is how they support games. World War Z, their other game, hasn't run on steamdeck for almost a year now, and they have done nothing about it. The game itself is almost unplayable, for those that played it for years now (myself included). There is also nothing listed on the steam store about the epic bs, which they legally have to post. I was so excited to play this game but considering the thing with bots isn't true either, I'm so glad I didn't waste money on it.
