So was playing solo using the trainer, and had a guy on my friends list join me. I quit as quickly as I could. I have my stuff set to friends only but there isn't a way to make it invite only it seems, and being offline on Steam doesn't change in game status either.

Am I missing a way to turn off having friends join, or is it just how it is and I'm gonna have to figure out when he isn't playing to play? I don't want to remove him as we do play together a lot, but I also want to be able to use the trainer.

I quit as fast as I could, I don't think he loaded in yet so I'm not sure if he saw anything, I was using the health and ammo, and running solo on a crazy difficulty might have been a giveaway if he saw that. I take it I'd catch a ban if he reported it, but would him joining spark something to have it looked at, even if he doesn't?

We have no way of knowing any of this.

I don't think you can block friends from joining and I seriously doubt that you would see a ban if they did as GameGuard is completely disabled using our trainer, but we have no way of knowing what the devs can/are tracking. We haven't had a single person from about 100,000 people using our trainer that has received a ban. But we still maintain that the trainer is USE AT YOUR OWN RISK and should ONLY be used SOLO so you did the right thing by disconnecting.
