I might be the flyer in the group, but as a gamer, I love playing games like HellDivers 2 not so much for the adrenaline rushing, heart palpating, stress inducing online multiplayer co-op time (I get enough of that at work and in life), but more for the relaxing, exciting, visceral, and gratifying time of simply mowing down enemies with the accompanying destruction, and chaos.

There is something very calming and cathartic about coming home from a stressful day at work and being able to dismantle Automatons, and eviscerate Terminids with impunity. It's difficult to explain, but very easily felt and observed.

I bought HellDivers 2 ONLY after seeing there was a CheatHappens trainer for it, and ONLY for that reason as all the CheatHappens trainers have proven time and again to be simply EXCELLENT, and I knew I could play the game exactly for the reasons stated above. Not to dupe other online players, or ruin their fun, but simply to enjoy my own experience of the game isolated from anyone else; I do not have hours upon hours of free time everyday simply to waste with slogging thru and frustration.

I would NOT have bought the game otherwise, and once the trainer stopped working, I stopped playing completely and wrote off the whole thing. Now that the trainer is working again, I am once again enjoying myself with it and I hope that lasts for a LONG time. When HellDivers 3 comes out in the future, if there is a CheatHappens trainer for that, I will buy that as well, and support their company.

I would love to think that I am just odd and an outlier in this overall opinion, but I have a strong suspicion that I am one of THOUSANDS of people who like to enjoy the games as I do, adding to the revenue of the game maker without demolishing the enjoyable experience of others who enjoy the game their way.

I hope the devs see this and realize that a chunk of revenue comes from people like me, people who love the game, paid for it, and enjoy it the way we like with no effect on the rest who play it according to the developers desires.

Bottom line. I would NOT have bought this game if there was no offline trainer for it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this out. We KNOW there are a LOT of people like yourself. Our trainers do not "destroy" game sales, they INCREASE them.... especially way more than some gaming review website that may not have shed a great light on the game. We make games more FUN. The more fun, the better chance you have of actually being able to play the game and see all of the game, the better chance that you will be the one buying their DLCs and future games. If you get stuck on level 3 because of some insane difficulty level or can't "grind" for 10 weeks to get whatever special thing you need to beat level 3, then you will stop playing out of frustration and likely will not spend any money on that game or subsequent games from that developer again. I would be willing to wager on the fact that there are more people actively playing the game when our trainer is working than when it's not. One article over at IGN said that our trainer was "ruining the grind" for people. Uhhhhhhh.... so if you had a choice of waiting in line for 5 hours to get something you wanted and someone offered you a way to get it in 30 mins instead, you would choose to WAIT because you don't want to ruin the wait for yourself? Stupidest thing I have ever heard come out of IGN in a long time, but that was their BEST argument on how our cheats are destroying this game.

Anyways, thanks for your comments. I am going to leave this thread open in case others want to chime in. We already know the game devs are monitoring our site so they can try and kill every trainer we make, so just maybe they will read posts like these and understand our intentions are TRUE and not to bring any kind of harm to the game, it's sales, microtransactions or other players.

I actually use this site to an extent to help me decide what games to buy if I'm on the fence of getting a game or not. I check each day what trainers have been made; or if I'm on steam and a game looks interesting I will then check this site to see if a trainer has been made for the game or not.

Some people have handicaps and need the trainers.

Like the OP I only bought HD2 because there was a trainer for it, and I'll happily buy any DLC if the trainer is still working. Most games I buy are to be played offline / solo so I can actually experience the game and all it has to offer, without feeling like I'm missing out because I'm not very good.

Keep doing what you do CH and I'll keep supporting you, which in turn helps me enjoy games I wouldn't normally have bought otherwise.

100% i ONLY purchased this game due to the trainer. i would never have gotten if i could not have simple mindless fun solo in it.

cheathappens Traineres is the reason i am still playing games all this 15 years
